Our Mission: "Greater Good Northwest seeks to house and support historically and presently underserved communities, focusing on BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and formerly incarcerated individuals."

GGNW prides itself on being unequivocally devoted to the advancement of opportunities for and connection to the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community. This is accomplished though intentional and quantifiable efforts in our outreach program design, staffing, advocacy, and organizational stance. Our outreach staff are trained in understanding the way that people of color oftentimes have warranted apprehension in contacting social services even when aid is desperately needed. Our approach here is to avoid simply referring communities of color to "just call this number," and instead focus on building relationship through multiple meetings in-person, empathetic case management, and warm connections with our community partners.
